Welcome to Outen Tyres, a trusted, family-run business proudly serving the local community for over 40 years. Throughout this time, we have built a strong reputation for excellent customer service, competitive pricing, and reliable workmanship. As a result, we are now a go-to destination for high-quality tyres across the UK.
Our journey began in 1975 as a modest one-man tyre shop in Ockendon. However, as word quickly spread about our commitment to quality and customer care, demand continued to grow. Consequently, we relocated to Cranham before finally establishing our long-standing home on London Road, West Thurrock in 1993.
Since then, our loyal customer base has continued to expand year after year. This steady growth has allowed us not only to enlarge our premises, but also to invest in skilled staff and modern equipment. Today, while much has changed, our core values remain the same—honest advice, dependable service, and tyres you can trust.

A New Chapter Begins
In May 2021, a new chapter began for Outen Tyres when the business was proudly passed on to Ricky and his family. Taking over from the original owners, Paul and Lyn Outen, the family has continued to build on the strong foundations already in place. Since then, the business has gone from strength to strength.

As a result, our workshop is now supported by dedicated, knowledgeable staff on-site, alongside a skilled mobile team offering reliable call-out tyre services. Consequently, we are able to provide fast, efficient assistance wherever our customers may be.
